Series: Farm Management ; 12(2) October 2004, 105-113(9)Publication details: 2004Subject(s): Summary: Ireland's prominence in the technological sector has had an impact on more traditional businesses. A survey of Irish agribusinesses found that 55% had a website. The reasons given by respondents for developing a website included the need to improve their promotions strategy and it's use as a key method for external communication with customers. The use of ebusiness in the supply side was not considered as important with only 20% reporting that eprocurement was an important issue.
