<br/><br/> Independent traders in Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Glasgow are to join forces to to create a netwrok to halt the 'blanding of cities' by large chains of bars and retailers. The Independents group, has called on Manchester City Council to ensure that a balance between independent  traders and large corporate names is maintained.
