<br/><br/> Examines the Global Environment Outlook (GEO) Data Portal which was created to provide a comprehensive, reliable and timely supply of data for the preparation of UNEP's GEO reports. The portal provides access to a common and consistent set of data sets from primary sources including the United Nations. The portal has developed since October 2000 and now includes information on the state of natural resources, societal driving forces and root causes of environmental change and degradation.
