<br/><br/> The landfill sector is being given the opportunity to raise any major issues over new permit requirements under the Landfill directive, as soon as possible. The Environment Agency has published the proposed application pack for pollution prevention and control (PPC) permits, which landfill operators must obtain to comply with the directive, and is calling for any major issues to be raised by 25 October 2002, ahead of the official deadline for comments on 22 November.
