The planning methods employed by BAA for the extension include framework supplier agreements, the involvement of framework suppliers in the planning phase, and using forward planning from the design team to avoid unnecessary fabrication of design parts.  Demonstrates how effective planning has made significant cost savings in comparison to the Gatwick South Terminal extension.
