Committee criticises Whitehall

<br/><br/> The House of Commons select committee on the ODPM has released "The role of historic buildings in urban regeneration". This report claims that Whitehall departments are too distant and are not working closely enough on their shared responsibilities and concludes that tourism and heritage (currently a Department for Culture, Media and Sport responsibility) and regeneration (a ODPM responsibility) should go hand in hand.
