Language: English Series: Construction Journal ; Feb-Mar 2010, 16-17(3)Publication details: 2010Subject(s): Online resources: Summary: The Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act (LDEDC) received Royal Assent on 12 November 2009. Most people involved in our industry will be aware of the LDEDC and the fact that, if brought into force, it will involve changes to the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (HGCRA). The current prognosis is that LDEDC is unlikely to be introduced until March/April 2011 if at all (given an intervening general election). LDEDC makes some amendments so that a LDEDC-compliant payment regime is one where payment is triggered solely by payment notices.Item type | Current library | Call number | Copy number | Status | Date due | Barcode | |
