The CAP code is self-regulated by the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA). A marketing communication is judged by ASA to be something that is primarily aimed at selling something, with or without a price and even if it does not seek an immediate financial transaction. Applies to marketing communications of organisations operating in the UK. This could mean a .com website or an .org website as well as a .co.uk website.
