Presents the findings of RICS commissioned research into the levels of mould in homes, hospitals, schools, offices and other dwellings across England. Research was instigated as a result of concerns about the possible legal and insurance effects on chartered surveyors who regularly investigate mould in people's homes. Discusses the implications of the findings for surveyors and specifically calls for clear guidance to be developed for reporting mould in homes. Findings are presented in the form of diagrams, tables and graphs. Appendices include the questionnaire, sampling instructions for surveyors and a custody form.
