Reports that the building cost index, the mechanical cost index, and the electrical cost index continue to rise faster than the consumer price index, although this latter index's jump to 3% means it has gained some ground. Material cost pressures have continued to ease. The surge in oil prices has continued. Producer input costs and output prices both rose. Construction wages continued to decline. Predicts some local increases in this field during June.
